Time For a Fun Summer Quote and Do It Anyway By Mother Teresa

“At least we don’t have hurricanes….at least we don’t have hurricanes….at least we don’t have hurricanes…”

I saw an image on Facebook that someone had put up the other day of a man out shoveling snow up to his neck, and this was what he was repeating over and over in his head.

For those who don’t get it – I live right smack in the middle of the prairies in Canada, and we are still stuck in winter. We have had a long, horrible winter full of snow and cold, and we continue to have snow and temperatures way below seasonal normals for this time of year.

We are all sick of winter, and are fully ready for spring any time now!!! After having snow on the ground since November, taking us into almost 6 months of this stuff…..we are done!!!

So, I saw another image one day of a sign that I just thought perfectly summed up my life. I couldn’t find it again, so I have made my own……

Life Is Better In Flip-Flops!

This will officially be my mantra until the last of this snow is off the ground, and I can throw my socks and shoes into the basement – not to be seen again for at least 6 months! (Well, I can hope, can’t I?) I am printing this off onto photo paper, and putting it into a nice frame to hang by my door for the summer:-)

(If you would like a copy without my site name on it – these are always free for my email subscribers! You just need to sign up to get access to the subscribers area:-) I put my name on the images for the web just to make sure the pictures remain the property of my site.

Go ahead and print one off and hang it by your door if you need some summer happiness right now!
I also have had ALOT of people contact me about the framed quote print I have hanging by my front door – the one by Mother Teresa – wanting to know where I got it and how they can get one. (You can see it in the original post).

Since I also see in my stats that there are a lot of people interested in this quote, I decided to try making one for my readers to use if they would like. If you want it blown up to a bigger size like mine is, you will need to take it to a professional printer like Staples. I tried making it as close to mine as I could – but I used a scrapbooking program for mine, and had to pay a bit of money to get it.

Do It Anyway by Mother TeresaAnyway! Here it is – the copyright protected one for my website – (you are welcome to use this one if you want, but my site name is on the bottom). Again, if you are a subscriber, just login to the subscriber page and download the one without my site name printed on it.

As you can see, I love doing this kind of stuff!! I love quotes – and I have a ton of cool printed ones all over my house:-) So, from time to time, you can expect to see more from me!
Now, I am off to dig out my flip-flops!! Maybe if I start wearing them before the snow is gone, spring will get the hint…….
